New PhD project: Performing the rural landscape through art in situ
Morten Frølund is new PhD student at the Department of Sociology, Environmental and Business Economics as of 15 March, 2020
His project explores cultural assemblages, which are formed of social- and sense practices around landscape-based art projects in rural areas. The key interests are the affect and attachment to landscapes and community.
The PhD is part of a collaborative project on culture in rural areas between SDU, The Central Denmark Region, The North Denmark Region, The Region of Southern Denmark, and the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces.
Associate Professor Pia Heike Johansen, Department of Sociology, Environmental and Business Economics is the main supervisor on the project and Associate Professor Martin Lindhardt, Department of Sociology, Environmental and Business Economics is the co-supervisor.
