Powerful machine learning algorithms to help the health sector
I collaboration with researchers from OUH -Aleksander Krag, Maja Sofie Thiele, Maria Timofeeva, Moustapha Kassem and their team members - Centre for Quantum Mathematics are exploring the use of a new photonic quantum computing platform – Gaussian Boson Samplers to build more powerful machine learning algorithms to address
- the optimization problems in the referral pathways of fatty liver disease patients (joint with Centre of Liver Research, OUH) and
- the feature selection problems in predicting colorectal cancer risk using genetic data (joint with Public Health, SDU).
