The laboratory section includes a small laboratory for the preparation of samples as well as a cell laboratory. There is access to -20oC and -80oC freezer and a nitrogen tank (-196oC) for storing samples.
The laboratory technician, Vivi Monrad, vmonrad@health.sdu.dk, can be contacted for assistance in the preparation of samples or assistance in surgery of mice and rats.
The laboratory offers cryopreservation of semen and embryos, production of early stage embryos (eg. blastocysts), in vitro fertilisation and embryo transfer in mice. Please contact veterinarian Stefanie Kolstrup, skolstrup@health.sdu.dk, for more information on this.
