Ana Faria Lopes is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark since January 2024. She has a PhD in Economics from the University of Stavanger (Norway). Prior to joining SDU, she has worked at the Center for Ocean and Society at the University of Kiel (Germany).
Ana conducts research on non-market valuation of environmental goods and services, such as oil spill prevention, beach recreation and water purification. Her work aims at advancing the frontier of non-market valuation methods, by analysing the demand for environmental goods or services.
