Masoumeh Mirsafa

She is an architect and urban designer by education, and she has extended my work experience in the area of urban planning and research over the last few years. Throughout her career, she has worked in academia and in practice across different countries. Prior to joining SDU, she worked on the NBSouth Project: Nature-based Solutions for Climate Adaptation in Cities of the Global South at the Polytechnic of Milan, Italy. Additionally, she collaborated with the UN-Habitat Tehran office on various projects, focusing on urban resilience. Her main areas of interest include resilient cities, climate-responsive and water-smart design. She is also passionate about creating inclusive cities, with a focus on gender-sensitive and child-friendly design.
