Lena Frischlich is an Associate Professor at the DDC. She has a background in media psychology and communication science. Her research focuses on the interplay between the digital realm, human cognition, and behaviour. She is particularly interested in the staging and effects of manipulative online communication such as propaganda, disinformation, or hate speech, and how to strengthen democracy in the digital realm.
