Sofia Kostopoulou is a PhD Student at the Digital Democracy Centre and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. She holds a BSc degree in Informatics from the University of Piraeus, Greece, and an MSc degree in Information Systems & Operations Management from the University of Nottingham, UK. Sofia also has several years of working experience in the industry as an IT Business Analyst. Her research interests include artificial intelligence and data analytics, as well as social aspects of technology adoption, such as equality, diversity and democracy. Sofia will work on the AI in the Newsroom-project.
