Work/research interests
Aims of research:
- Study how epigenetic activation of genes, normally only expressed in male germ cells (i.e. cancer/testis antigens), support hallmark phenotypes of cancer cells.
- Study the complex interactions between cancer cells and immune cells in the tumor microenvironment and find novel ways to modulate these to enhance anti-tumor immunity.
Methods and techniques
In vivo/in vitro tumor models, single-cell sequencing, advanced sequencing.
