Statistik hjælp, data behandling og method-club

All researchers affiliated to the department D are eligible to call for support for statistical analysis and data management, please contact Chunsen Wu.

All researchers affiliated to the department D are eligible to call for method-club for a specific topic.

All researchers especially senior researchers are encouraged to present one/more topics that can be added to the list.

How the method-club works?

For example, if one of the researchers is interested in learning or hearing some research related methodologies, which maybe one of the following listed topics or maybe a completely new topic, the researcher together with Chunsen can initiate a method-club meeting. We will try our best to invite internal or external colleagues to give about between 0.5-1.5-hour presentation on the topic. When everything is settled, we will make an announcement on the topic to all researchers affiliated to the department D. Everyone is welcome to join in the method-club. No matter how many come, it will be carried out as planned.

Method-club has no fixed format. It entirely depends on the topics, which could be in general or could be specific. We could also consider the method-club as a journal club, it also could be for example read an article, go through book chapters, present a protocol, present a new publication, practice a conference-presentation, practice a PhD defense, etc.

Location: the research unit (Forskningsenheden)

Time: we prefer Thursday after staff meeting (Personalemøde) if possible but it can be modified
