VIVE publishes new report on trauma-informed approaches to working with children and adolescents

The Danish Center for Social Science Research, VIVE has published a report on trauma-informed approaches to children and adolescents. The report uncovers knowledge of the use of trauma-informed approaches to ensure that children and adolescents are provided the best conditions for support in the Danish municipalities and organizations from now on. A number of International- and Nordic experts has been interviewed by VIVE, including Sille Schandorph Løkkegaard from the National Centre of Psychotraumatology.
The National Centre of Psychotraumatology introduced the trauma-informed approach at the January Conference in 2020. You can watch Jason Lang's presentation here. Continuous of this, the center held a specific workshop for the National Board of Health and Welfare for them to learn about this trauma-informed approach.
