Sille Schandorph Løkkegaard is the first winner of a new award from ESTSS
The ESTSS Innovation in Clinical Practice Award recognizes a significant contribution to the development of clinical practice in psychotraumatology. The award is presented for the first time this year by the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Read more about the award here. The National Centre of Psychotraumatology's very own Sille Schandorph Løkkegaard is the first winner of the ESTSS Innovation in Clinical Practice Award, which will be presented on June 15th in Belfast. It is a great honour to receive the award and is well deserved because Sille Løkkegaard's work over the past ten years has resulted in earlier treatment for children, who has been traumatized by illness, accidents or abuse.
Sille Schandorph Løkkegaard works with trauma in children, including the development Odense Child Trauma Screening (OCTS), an assesment tool for screening children for trauma.
