Louise Hauberg Lindgaard

Louise Hauberg Lindgaard, Danish PhD fellow and early modern historian, b. 1991.

Louise is one of the conference’s coordinators, and will be present at the conference itself.

In her daily work, Louise is a part of the research project GODWIT at University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
Here, she writes her dissertation on the role and agency of the regional governors in the witch trials of the Danish conglomerate state (1584-1660).
She is also connected to Museums of South Jutland in Ribe as visiting researcher at HEX! Museum of Witch Hunt, which she helped create in 2020. 
Her main research interest are early modern history of crime (especially the witch trials) and magical practices of the same period.
