Frederik Tibert Larsen is a molecular biologist by training from Aarhus University where he received his PhD degree in veterinary immunology in 2020. He has been a postdoc in the Ravnskjaer group from 2020 to 2023 and is now employed as a staff scientist in the research group. During his postdoc, Frederik spearheaded the project on SMOC2 as a novel biomarker of MASH. The study was published in Journal of Hepatology Reports.
Frederik works bioinformatically with human liver tissue plasticity during MASLD progression and regression of bariatric patients. He is the main person doing analysis on human liver biopsies.
