Your surroundings and permitted test aids

You must sit: 

  • At a firm and steady table 
  • Alone (presence of other persons or animals is not allowed) 
  • In a noise-free room 
  • In a well-lit room, so your uniTEST supervisor can see both you and your surroundings on the webcam 

The following items are allowed on your table: 

  • Drinks 
  • Something to eat, e.g. a snack 
  • A pencil for taking notes 
  • Blank sheets of paper (max. 5 sheets) 
  • Picture ID, e.g. your passport or driving licence
  • A small mirror (to show that there are no post it notes on your computer screen. The selfie-function from a phone can be used as an alternative, but the phone must be put away during the test).

You can use the following on your computer:

  • Acer test app
  • Zoom app
  • All other programs on your computer must be closed

The following items are not allowed on your table: 

  • Mobile phones (also not to be used as webcams - test participants will be rejected)
  • Smartwatch, camera or any electronic devices other than your computer 
  • Headphones (and it is neither not allowed to wear them during the test)
  • Extra screen(s) 
  • Dictionaries, neither in book form or in online version 
  • Calculator 
  • Lunch box 
  • Pencil case 
  • Paper notebook or other aids
