Annual Meeting in Oncology

Course content

This course is designed for Ph.D. students who want to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges that arise during the Ph.D. process and to develop strategies for effectively managing them. Ph.D. studies can be an intense and demanding period, characterized by high requirements for self-discipline, independence, and scientific precision.

Throughout the course, participants will gain insight into both the academic and personal challenges that often occur, as well as how to maintain motivation and the quality of their work. Additionally, the course will focus on how to continue with research even after completing the Ph.D. program, including the challenges that may arise afterward.

Upon completing the course, participants will:

  • Have an understanding of typical challenges during Ph.D. studies and tools to address them.
  • Be able to identify and manage stress and work-related concerns.
  • Develop improved skills in time management and project planning.
  • Be better equipped to handle criticism and build an academic network.

Target Audience: The course is aimed at current and future Ph.D. students who seek a reflective and structured approach to handling the challenges that may arise in a research environment.
