Course description:
“Systematic reviews seek to collate evidence that fits pre-specified eligibility criteria in order to answer a specific research question. They aim to minimize bias by using explicit, systematic methods documented in advance with a protocol” (Cochrane Handbook). The literature search is the foundation for data collection in a systematic review, and the quality of it has a major impact on the overall quality of the final product. Many studies confirm that there is room for improvement. This course will take the participants through how to identify all studies that would meet the eligibility criteria.
