We host the secretariat of the international committee under the Danish Society for Occupational Medicine for (ICOEPH). For this reason, we coordinate several projects that aim at improving the human health and the work environment around the globe.
We cooperate closely with the Danish NGO ‘Dialogos’, Danish Universities, ICOH and with local partner organizations in Bolivia, Uganda, Nepal. In these projects, the aim is to reduce health risks in some of the world’s most dangerous workplaces in mining and agriculture and reduce health and environmental risks from waste in the cities.
We contribute to the education of medical students at both BA and MA in Denmark and internationally and coordinate the International Profile on the medicine study at SDU.
We have a seat in the board as a founding member of the ICOH Scientific Committee on Mining Occupational Health and Safety and participate actively in the Scientific Committee on Agriculture as well
