Head of Center speaks at New York Energy Week work shop
Five representatives from Center for Energy Informatics will join the New York Energy Week 2016 (June 13th – June 17th) to present the COORDICY project. Head of Center Bo Nørregaard Jørgensen will take part as a speaker in workshop: "The Future of Demand-Side Management: The Intelligent Building" along with among others Rose Grymes, Nasa Ames who is also a partner in the COORDICY project.
The focus of the workshop will be:
A critical component to insuring a resilient, energy efficient future is to innovate and expand the concept of demand side management. With new technology and data driven solutions the buildings of the future will be able to intelligently save more energy and become an integrated part of demand response mechanisms. This event will take a look into the future and invite industry leaders to discuss how to create the intelligent building of tomorrow, that is not only cost effective but also part of solving the energy challenges in the city.
Other representatives from the COORDICY project partners will also find their way to New York during the Energy Week to attend workshops and meetings.
The workshop "The Future of Demand-Side Management: The Intelligent Building" is Hosted by The Danish Cleantech Hub in New York. Danish Cleantech Hub is a public-private partnership, led by the Confederation of Danish Industry and State of Green. The Danish Cleantech Hub support the visibility and commercialization of Danish cleantech solutions and expertise in New York.
