Katrine Thorhauge has been a part of the team since 2014 as a part-time researcher while finishing her medical degree at the University of Southern Denmark. After graduating in July 2019 she started as a full time PhD-fellow investigating the long term aspects of alcoholrelated liver disease; disease progression, prognosis and development of monitoring tools and biomarkers. Moreover Katrine is responsible of recalling a cohort of patients with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency for their 3. and 5. year clinical follow-up.
