New CDAI report

New CDAI report

How many Danes participate in political discussions online? Who refrains from participating, and what are the reasons behind this? How do Danes perceive the digitalisation of the public sphere?

These are some of the questions investigated in the third report from the 'Citizens, Digitalisation, and AI (CDAI)' project. In a highly digitalised society like Denmark, social media platforms are playing an increasingly significant role - also in the context of the public sphere. Therefore, the digitalisation of the public sphere has also become a topic of attention in public discourse and among authorities in Denmark in recent years. However, the impact of the digitalisation of the public sphere on participation in political discussions has not been adequately mapped in a Danish context. The purpose of this report is to examine the extent of engagement in political discussions online in Denmark, as well as how Danes perceive the digitalisation of the public sphere.
