The project aims to help identify those institutions in the countries of the western Baltic Sea which, under the premise of sustainability, promote a resilient ecological and economic marine system. Researchers at the Center for Ocean and Society help identify sustainability standards from different stakeholders, i.e. describe the stakeholders' ideas about how the western Baltic Sea should ideally be used. Furthermore, they examine whether the ideas for sustainable development in the western Baltic Sea of various stakeholders can be fulfilled at the same time. The Center for Ocean and Society is an associated member.

Period of project: 2019-2022
