Nationalist politics, nationalist philosophy, nationalist rhetorics.
Masterclass with prof. Nenad Miscevic
We warmly invite PhD students from philosophy, rhetorics, political science and the social sciences with an interest in nationalist politics, nationalist ideology, nationalist rhetorics as well as their cosmopolitarian and liberal opposites. Nenad Miscevic is professor of philosophy at Central European University, Vienna and the University of Maribor. He is the author of several influential books and articles on nationalism and cosmopolitarianism including Nationalism and Beyond: Introducing Moral Debate About Values (2001), and The Word that Bears a Sword: Inquiries into Pejoratives (2016, co-authored with Julija Perhat).
