Giulia Muco is winner of the “Milla Baldo Ceolin” Award
PhD student Giulia Muco is one of ten winners of the 2023 “Milla Baldo Ceolin" Award for her outstanding research in theoretical physics.
Giulia Muco, a PhD student at the Quantum Field Theory Center, at IMADA, SDU, has been recognized as one of the ten winners of the prestigious 2023 “Milla Baldo Ceolin” Award.
Giulia completed her award-winning research during her studies at the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” focusing on Beyond the Standard Model physics.
”I’m honoured to receive this prize, which is named after a truly inspirational figure in physics. I’m proud to be a member of this community, and I will continue to do my best in contributing to advancing our knowledge in theoretical physics. I hope this prize will inspire more and more young women in pursuing their curiosity in STEM, knocking down day by day outdated and unfounded gender stereotypes.

The “Milla Baldo Ceolin” Award, established by INFN, celebrates young female physicists who have made significant contributions in theoretical physics, encouraging their careers in the field.
Giulia will present her work at the prize ceremony in Florence on October 8, 2024.
