COLABS: Co-design for laboratory energy savings

01-04-2023

Fast track COLABS

The research idea is to prototype a procedure for increasing awareness of laboratory managers to energy consumption in their labs and for co-designing relevant energy saving methods that are coherent with overall lab strategies. The project will have a high impact on the energy consumption of the labs involved and will thus help reduce long-term energy demand in research laboratories and therefore CO2 emissions. It will contribute significantly to improving energy savings in public buildings (cf. Denmark's Recovery & Resilience Plan 2021) and hence accelerate Denmark's green transition to climate neutrality.
