The purpose of the PhD project is (i) To identify mid and long-term sustainable feed protein sources that can be produced from locally available resources in Denmark without compromising climate, human health, ecosystem and natural resources; (ii) To create in-depth knowledge about future protein sources by studying their techno-socio-economic, environmental, ecological and health impacts; (iii) To simulate the supply chain of future scenarios by 2050 under various socio-economic pathways.
