Appointed Dean and appointed Acting Rector
Uffe Holmskov has been appointed Dean from 1 August until the end of 2021. At the same time, Ole Skøtt has been appointed temporarily as Rector.
The Board of SDU has unanimously decided to appoint the Dean of SUND, Ole Skøtt, as Rector until the position has been filled. Ole Skøtt has agreed to head SDU while the Board sets out to find a new rector to replace Henrik Dam, who has accepted a position as Director of the Organisation of General Practitioners.
Ole Skøtt will take over as Acting Rector on 1 August 2021, and Uffe Holmskov, Head of the Department of Molecular Medicine, will therefore be appointed Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences during the period in which Ole Skøtt will serve as Acting Rector of SDU.
At the same time, Boye L. Jensen is also appointed Head of Department at the Department of Molecular Medicine during the period.
Ole Skøtt will take over as Acting Rector on 1 August 2021, and Uffe Holmskov, Head of the Department of Molecular Medicine, will therefore be appointed Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences during the period in which Ole Skøtt will serve as Acting Rector of SDU.
