Introduction to Cybersecurity

‘Introduction to Cybersecurity’ is a course that introduces the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity and illustrates which measures companies, public sector entities, and individuals can take to increase their cybersecurity posture. Examples of security breaches at companies and public sector entities will be used to illustrate the threat landscape and how attacks are performed in practice. For these attacks appropriate protection measures will be discussed.

Assistant Professor Peter Mayer researches a wide range of issues in cybersecurity, ranging from effective awareness materials to supply chain security.
