About the university
The University of Southern Denmark in Odense opened for students in 1966 and has since then developed into having five faculties with more than 27,000 students, almost 20% of whom are from abroad, 115 different study programs in the fields of the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, health sciences, and engineering, more than 4,000 employees, and campuses in five towns in the southern region of Denmark. Several international studies document that we conduct world-class research and are one of the top fifty young universities in the world.
About our department
The Department of Business and Economics is part of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. The Faculty is organized into eight departments, which span a broad academic range within the discipline of business and social sciences. Our research and accompanying academic programmes are at the highest level and range from business school disciplines to political science, law, economics including health economics, journalism, and sociology. The eight departments are situated at five campuses of the University of Southern Denmark.
