The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) carries out intervention research. We develop, carry out and evaluate preventive and health promotion measures, look at what works for who and under what conditions, and how the measures can best be implemented in everyday life with the resources available.
Our goal is to create measures that improve the health behaviour and living conditions of the Danish people.
We have ten years of experience with intervention research and we are the only organisation in Denmark with a centre for intervention research in the field of health sciences. It is at the Centre for Intervention Research that intervention research carried out by the National Institute of Public Health is gathered.
