Research unit of Emergency Medicine (Odense) is part of the Joint Emergency Department (FAM) at Odense University Hospital (OUH) and the Department of Clinical Research at the University of Southern Denmark. We are a team of professors, consultants, clinical associate professors, PhD students, medical students, data managers, nurses, and research secretaries.
We have a particular focus on interdisciplinary research, acute ultrasound, and treatment of patients with shock.
In addition, we have a nursing academy responsible for research, development, and education.
Apart from our PhD projects, we have collaborative projects with the Psychiatry Department in the Region of Southern Denmark, Odense Municipality, and several national and international emergency departments.
