The Joint Board of Representatives

The Joint Board of Representatives monitors the University’s activities and development and also appoints seven members from the business community, authorities and educational organisations to the Appointment Body.

The members of the Joint Board of Representatives are appointed in their personal capacity, and as a group they reflect and represent the University’s students and employers in the form of companies, organisations and educational and cultural institutions. Members must have insight into research, research-based education, management, organisation and finances, including the assessment of budgets and accounts.

Members are appointed for a term of four years and are eligible for reappointment once.

After a public announcement, the Joint Board of Representatives appoints seven members to the Appointment Body, which appoints board members on the recommendation of the Nomination Body.
