MADE is an academic-industrial collaboration that will pave the way for the development of new, efficient and enhanced types of manufacturing that will strengthen the manufacturing industry in Denmark and increase its competitiveness. Project coordinator is the Confederation of Danish Industry. Partners of the project are Aalborg University, Denmark's Technical University, University of Southern Denmark, Copenhagen Business School, Aarhus University, Danish Technological Institute, FORCE Technology, and a number of manufacturing companies. The total budget amounts to 183.5 million DKK. MADE is financially supported by Danish Council for Strategic Research and Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.
One of the nine themes of MADE, Hyperflexible automation, is lead by Professor Henrik Gordon Petersen, head of SDU Robotics.
