Academic aim of the programme
Theoretical and applied statistics with special emphasis on multivariate statistics, geometric morphometrics, Bayesian inference, survival analysis, stochastic population modelling, extreme value statistics and its applications in science and engineering.
It is expected that a PhD fellow publishes 3-4 articles on the results of the research project. Results will be published in the best statistical journals or journals within the application area.
