Danish Student CubeSat Program (DISCO)

Danish Student CubeSat Program, or DISCO for short, is a student-driven program focused on the design, construction, testing, launching, and
utilization of two CubeSats. CubeSats are cube-shaped satellites that are cost-effective to launch, while also being usable for a multitude of different
purposes. For instance, Earth observation, research, communication, and testing of new technologies. Additionally, CubeSats are also a significant
international growth area.

Plan

The current plan for the DISCO project is to continue our work with the DISCO-1 satellite as a test platform in space. Furthermore, work is being done
on the design, manufacturing and construction of the DISCO-2 satellite for its future mission, studying the Greenland ice.

Target/goal

The current target/goal for the DISCO project is to optimize communication with DISCO-1 and the partner universities ground stations. Additionally,
the secondary target/goal is to finish the DISCO-2 mission and launch it into space.
