Our research group focuses on the intersection of supply chain management and technology management, providing a comprehensive cross-disciplinary approach to contemporary challenges and opportunities in society and business.

We explore supply chain management (including supply chain resilience, business continuity, cyber security, offshoring, reshoring, ESG (environmental, social, and governance), green process innovation, and operational performance) within the context of evolving technological solutions. Emphasis is on information sharing, data quality, decision support, and automation to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

We investigate consumers and companies’ adaptation to new Industry 4.0 technologies, their transition towards Industry 5.0, and thereby address the latest industrial and societal challenges of digital transformation. This includes studying consumer behavior in digital environments (e.g., digital addiction, digital decision-making), technological readiness, digital transformation strategy, responsible AI, and product development. Our aim is to support the sustainable, value-creating, and successful implementation of data-driven business models and digitalization practices.
