The Library Committee involves the library’s users and SDU’s employees in important decisions about the operation and development of the library.

The Animal Welfare Agency
The purpose of the Animal Welfare Agency (DVO) is to ensure high standards of animal welfare for animals used in experiments at the University of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital.
The Credit Appeals Board
The Credit Appeals Board considers appeals against the study board’s decisions on refusal or partial refusal of credit, including credit transferred in advance.
The RI Council
The RI Council is SDU’s research and innovation council and functions as a sort of board for the SDU Research and Innovation Organisation (RIO).
The PhD-K Committee
PhD‐K is a supporting forum for the RI Council. The RI Council deals with overall strategic questions within the PhD area, and PhD-K organises learning, academic development and administrative processing across the PhD Schools.
SDU’s Central Gender Equality Committee
SDU’s Central Gender Equality Committee works to support equality across the University’s faculties and units.
Student Forum
Each campus has a Student Forum – also called a user committee, where students are consulted and involved in the work with the general study environment.
The Council for Education
The Council for Education is the coordinating forum for overall strategic questions about SDU’s education programmes.

The Committee on Practice is an internal committee that deals with matters concerning possible breaches of good scientific practice in research at SDU.
University History Committee
The University History Committee collects and preserves materials that can shed light on the University’s history and participates in select research and dissemination projects.
The University Council
The University Council is a collegial body that must involve employees and students for advice in important decisions about university policy matters.
SDU Research Ethics Committee (SDU REC)
The SDU Research Ethics Committee (REC) ensures that SDU’s research complies with ethical standards.
