Step 5: Interpretation and analysis of the results of the Workplace Assessment and Well-Being Survey
Collective discussion and employee involvement
In order to translate the results of the Workplace Assessment and Well-Being Survey into actions that can develop and improve the work environment and well-being, it is crucial that employees in the unit are given the opportunity to work together and in dialogue with management to translate the results of the survey into a common understanding of why the given answers have been provided. To the extent possible, avoid talking about ‘solutions’ at this stage.
This common ‘why’ is a prerequisite for, and the basis of, subsequent discussions and agreements on how to maintain, develop and/or improve the work environment and well-being.
It is the management who, together with the health and safety group and any union representatives, plan how the discussions with the employees will be conducted. Interpretation and analysis of the measurement results should take place in November and December.
