FLASH team gathered for a three-day seminar in May

At FLASH – Centre for Liver Research our aim is to help and make life better for patients with liver disease. To obtain this, it requires a dedicated research team, focused work and lots of teamwork. Not to forget work satisfaction and a team spirit. Therefore, we went on a three-day seminar at the coast of Funen to focus on exact this. Amongst other inputs, we heard a talk by Nynne Lykke Christiansen on ”well-being, work satisfaction and learning environment” and a talk by Jørgen Ejler Pedersen on “work-life-balance”. We had an event company setting up a teambuilding event for us with several activities e.g. building a homemade raft to float at the sea. All with one and only purpose, to optimize our work environment, our team spirit and our work-life-balance, whereby we, as a team, hope to continue creating new research in the field of liver disease in years to come.
