FLASH strongly represented at the AASLD Liver Meeting
Researchers from FLASH participated in the American Association of the annual AASLD the Liver Meeting, which took place in a digital format this November. Researchers form FLASH contributed with an oral presentation, posters, and participation in expert panels.
This year Liver Meeting hosted by the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) took place in a digital format from November 12-15th. More than 1,300 liver experts from all over the world got together to discuss the newest knowledge, research results, and network. From FLASH Aleksander Krag, Mads Israelsen, Maria Kjærgaard, Katrine Lindvig, Nikolaj Torp, and Stine Johansen participated. Our research results were presented, both at an oral presentation and on posters; two of which were awarded ´poster of distinction´ and thereby judged to be among the top 10 % posters. Mads Israelsen participated in a Meet-the-Experts session with data from AlcoChallenge. Data from our large screening study was also presented on a patient poster tour with a lot of interesting discussion regarding early diagnosis and stigma in liver disease.
