"Exhibition and International Activity" Department (National Museum of History, Bulgaria), assistant professor, PhD - supervisor.
As a specialist in the field of archeology over the years, I had the opportunity to work on numerous international projects in Turkey, Greece, Georgia, Romania, and many others. In the course of my work, I was fortunate to meet and learn to know people from the neighboring countries, their culture and history. Traveling around the Balkans brought my interest towards questions such as: are the borders dividing us or are they places where the people from different minorities keep us united. Engaging myself in this project will broaden my horizons and will give me the opportunity to learn more about borders significance and impact in our life.
While all consortium members are networked with different agents of the heritage industry and will involve them in the B-SHAPES’ activities, two non-academic partners will coordinate the involvement of agents of the heritage industry: ENRS and the National Museum of History in Sofia, Bulgaria. The National Museum of History is one of the largest museums on the Balkan Peninsula and has a broad expertise in collecting, restoring, and popularizing European heritage artefacts originating in the Bulgarian lands.
