THE CALL IS OPEN
DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 30th, 2023
JUST SOCIETY is an interdisciplinary project aiming to promote equality by strengthening the rule of law, access to justice, and redistributive public policies through teaching, research, and public engagement. To support the early academic careers of scholars and to foster international cooperation, we would like to invite early career researchers for a research stay at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Denmark.
Visiting researchers will, depending on their research agenda, either be placed at the Department of Law as a part of the public law research group, or at the Danish Centre for Welfare Studies at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration.

Eligible candidates are PhD students or scholars who finished their PhD within the last 6 years (excluding parental leave) in the broad field of welfare state/public policy research within political science or rule of law, Rechtstatt, constitutional law, labour law, industrial relations, or public and administrative law within legal scholarship. Research agendas with a focus on countries in the Global South are preferable.
Overall, we aspire to ensure that grant-holders and JUST SOCIETY team members have overlapping research interests, so that the stay is mutually inspiring and can lead to further collaboration. We offer:
