New Industrial Ph.d. in collaboration with the Sports Analysis Institute
The Department of Sociology, Environmental and Business Economics has in collaboration with the Sports Research Institute received support for a new Industrial PhD
Christian Gjersing Nielsen has been granted an Industrial ph.d. financed by the Innovation Fund.
The ph.d. project is a collaboration between the Department of Sociology, Environmental and Business Economics and the Sports Analysis Institute (IDAN), where Christian has worked since completing his master's degree in Sports and Event Management at the University of Southern Denmark, Esbjerg.
With a focus on Danish conditions, the ph.d. project aims to create insight into the welfare economic effects of professional sports clubs and sporting events. The results of the project can be used by Danish municipalities in the prioritization of public funds.
We warmly welcome Christian back.
