Chatbots as Social Marketing Instruments: Empirical Insights into Individuals’ Responses at the Example of Digital Security Chatbots

Larysa Luzinska joined the Department of Business and Sustainability as a doctorate candidate in April 2024. As part of a larger research project funded by TrygFonden and led by Stefanie Sohn (Associate Professor at the Department of Business and Sustainability), she investigates in her PhD project why people decide for or against interacting with chatbots that aim to enhance digital security by providing information and persuasive messages. Most importantly, she will examine how these chatbots can contribute to promoting individuals’ engagement in digital security behavior, and what it means for companies to implement them.

Larysa Luzinska holds a Master of Science degree from SDU specializing in the digitalization of business, marketing, and social media. With nearly 20 years in marketing and public relations across private and public companies internationally and nationally, Larysa brings valuable insights into user behavior and communication strategies.

Larysa holds a scholarship for her PhD project provided by TrygFonden. TrygFonden is a Danish non-profit organization that promotes well-being and security in society and strongly supports this project.
