Daniel Barkoczi

Postdoc

In his research, Daniel develops mathematical and computational models of collective behavior and studies how individual-level strategies interact with the structure of  social environments to produce collective outcomes. He applies this approach to the study of collective problem-solving, organizational learning, wisdom of crowds, innovation diffusion and beyond.

He received his PhD in Psychology from Humboldt University, and his Masters in Cognitive and Decision Science from University College London. Before joining the University of Southern Denmark he worked as a pre-doctoral and post-doctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, and as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Analytical Sociology at Linköping University.
