Recent years focus on personalized medicine and genomic research has triggered grants to Clinical Genome Center from the University of Southern Denmark, the Region of Southern Denmark, and the Odense University Hospital . This now allows the center to reduce the prices on some of the offered services. This reduction in prices can be put down as institutional co-financing when writing grant applications for projects supported by the Clinical Genome Center. Previously, the infrastructure of CGC has primarily been funded by smaller grants and the projects fully funded by external grants to users.
