The topics vary from acoustic voice analyses to quality assurance of diagnostic procedures, quality-of-life studies, studies of the swallowing function after robotic surgery, and high-tech diagnostics of cancer and cancer precursors. The scope of the projects varies from reports and smaller surveys to meta-analyses and national research collaborations. Many of the projects are based on clinical issues and serves to provide quality assurance and improvement of investigation and treatment of conditions within our field.
Several of our researchers also teach medicine and audiologopedics and thus pass on the newest evidence-based knowledge to students.
