Our team is dedicated to raise the quality of daily nursing care, and strengthen the professional level. We achieve this by making specific clinical context measurements within nursing care. The department has a goal that all nurses take part in the development of nursing care, for example as a resource person for an area.
Our research initiatives span from small-scaled studies with direct clinical impact to larger cross-sectoral and regional projects.
We are conducting a large cross-sectoral and regional quantitative and qualitative study on tracheostomies before and after intervention. We combine virtual discharge interview with home care. For this purpose, we have developed a regional e-learning platform for nurses in municipalities and in hospitals.
We want our research to be meaningful research and for the immediate benefit of our patients and accordingly, we do our research in the clinical context of Department F.
We do (bi-)annual feedback meetings, where we invite patients or relatives to give feedback on their experiences with Department F. Such meetings serve the purpose of providing inspiration for new research projects.
