Eduardo Dias received his BSc in Physics in 2014 and his MSc in Fundamental Physics in 2016 from the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal), where he explored the plasmonic properties of graphene/metal-based heterostructures under the supervision of Nuno Peres. In 2017, he joined ICFO – The Institute of Photonic Sciences (Barcelona, Spain) where he investigated fundamental aspects of polaritonics and electron microscopy under the supervision of Javier García de Abajo. He was awarded a PhD in Photonics from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya in 2022. He joined POLIMA in November 2023 as a postdoctoral researcher where he explores nonlinear, nonlocal and thermal effects in 2D materials and thin metallic films under the supervision of Joel D. Cox.
