In collaboration with the other departments in the center, SDU, national and international partners, the department and ODIN conduct clinical, register-based and translational research within the field.
The primary focus is to develop new, minimally invasive methods to ensure early and safe diagnosis of patients with suspected malignancy in the chest.
Secondarily, the department and ODIN are actively involved in educational research ensuring optimal training and competency assessment of established as well as novel diagnostic procedures in the clinical field of invasive pulmonology.
