Charlotte Bagger Tranberg, PhD, is CEO and founder of Lex Futura and Director of Digital Compliance (part time) at Cookie Information. Charlotte has been working with data protection and digitalization for more than 20 years and are seen as one of the pioneers in the field of data protection in Denmark and The Nordics. She has a background in both academia and consultancy. Back in 2006 she was one of the first persons in The Nordics to be awarded the PhD-degree in data protection/EU-law. In addition to her deep professionalism, Charlotte is often characterized as a lawyer with a unique understanding of technology, who is able to see opportunities rather than limitations in the use of technology, and who is able to communicate this to all levels of an organization. Throughout her career, Charlotte has been a sought-after lecturer and speaker. She has also been essential part in the development of a number of legal tech products.
